You Can Finally Buy The Formerly-Banned Taiwanese Horror Game Devotion
Remember the horror game Devotion? It was released in February of 2019 and was praised by many before it was removed from Steam after a few years. Why? Because the game contained an easter egg that depicted Chinese president Xi Jinping in a bad light.
Also, GOG almost released the game in 2020, but it didn’t due to “many messages from gamers”. After all that nonsense, the game is finally available in digital form directly from Red Candle Games. It’s available for US$17 for both Windows and Mac.
Hello, Red Candle e-shop is now online. https://t.co/smmZxHj7zQ#??Detention, #??Devotion and our future projects will all be on e-shop in DRM-free format.
We hope to provide a direct and simple purchasing channel for players who’re interested in our games. pic.twitter.com/1SxzBZSiyW

You can also buy the studio’s previous horror game Detention, which costs US$11.99. Both Devotion and Detention are DRM-free on the site. So if you fancy some horror games focused on broken people, this should be your jam.
