Almost Every Halo Game Can Now Be Played With Mouse & Keyboard On Xbox
By Alleef Ashaari|April 8, 2021|0 Comment
Thanks to a new update, players can now play all the games in Halo The Master Chief Collection using a mouse and keyboard on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
These titles include Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach, and Halo 4 as of the latest April 2021 patch. In addition, you can now also adjust your field of view, crosshairs, and bind controls across multiple inputs, just like the experience of playing on PC.
What makes this great is that players who prefer mouse and keyboard can choose to play on Xbox consoles instead. The advantage of playing on consoles is that it’s less likely to encounter cheaters and exploiters, compared to PC, where cheaters are more likely to thrive and pop up.
According to the full patch notes, the update also adds new accessibility options, a new “Escalation Slayer†game variant, a new map for Halo 3, and you can easily set your in-game chat and audio devices separately now on PC. Players can also look forward to a whole new season’s worth of content with Halo The Master Chief Collection Season 6, which has been dubbed Raven.
