Apex Legends Season 9 Will Feature Titanfall Content

It looks like Apex Legends will have a lot more Titanfall content coming in Season 9. This is exciting news, considering that Titanfall, Titanfall 2, and Apex Legends are actually set in the same shared universe.

During a panel featuring several Respawn Entertainment developers hosted by BrownGirlGamerCode, Apex Legends senior writer Ashley Reed discussed the relationship between the two games, and how they were going to incorporate Titanfall into Apex Legends going forward.

Reed said:

“What’s going on in Titanfall is a war. Apex is what happens after the war.”

Meanwhile, Apex Legends Game Director Chad Grenier basically confirmed Titanfall content coming to Apex Legends Season 9, when he said (via this clip):

“Next season, Season 9, you’re actually going to see a ton of Titanfall coming back into the game in one way or another. So, I’ve told some people before, if you’re a Titanfall fan hang on for Season 9.”

Unfortunately, they also confirmed that fans shouldn’t expect actual mecha Titans to be added into Apex Legends, as there are currently no plans to do so.

Apex Legends recently launched on Steam in November 2020 and on the Nintendo Switch last month.
