Call Of Duty Warzone Gains Promotion for Next-Gen Consoles

Activision has released a new high-resolution texture pack for Call Of Duty Warzone and Call Of Duty Black Ops Cold War. However, it’s exclusively for the PS4 Pro, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

According to VGC, the size is about 7GB, which adds support for 1440p displays. This is why the update is not available for the base PS4 and Xbox One. Also, this is the fifth texture pack released for Call Of Duty Warzone so far since launch as previous texture packs have featured upgrades like improved visual detail for guns and character models.

Earlier this month, the next-gen version of the game also received 120hz support, which requires HDMI 2.1. However, we’re still waiting for a full next-gen version of the game, which was confirmed by creative director Amos Hodge back in April 2021. In the meantime, stay tuned on Kakuchopurei.
