Prince of Persia Sands of Time Remake Will Not Be At E3 2021

Sad news for folks waiting for the Prince of Persia remake.

This year’s Ubisoft Forward E3 event will not be featuring Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake. However, the official Twitter post stated that the team is making “great progress” for the game to release next year.

The fact that the game is being developed in Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai, both in India, means that it may be facing issues outside of its control. Like oh say a COVID-19 strain that is hitting the country harder than others. With that context, it makes sense that the company is not ready to show off anything as of yet, seeing that the Ubisoft studios are making sure that the environment they’re in is work safe in troubled times.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake will be out in 2022 for Xbox and PlayStation consoles, as well as for PC.
