CyberConnect2 To Announce A New Game Next Month

CyberConnect2, the developers renowned for the Demon Slayer fighting game, Asura’s Wrath for Capcom, and one of 2021’s best games Fuga: Melodies of Steel, will be hard at work this year and the next.

The company will announce a new game in February, with its release date planned for Summer 2022 according to the company’s CEO Hiroshi Matsumaya (via Ryokutya2089). The game will get people talking and will shake the world; their words, not mine.

In addition, the company shared the following stats:

  • Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles has surpassed 1.32 million units worldwide.
  • Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has surpassed 4.5 million units worldwide.
  • Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 has surpassed 8.7 million units worldwide.
