Yes 5G Kicks Off Exclusive Beta For NVIDIA GeForce NOW In Malaysia

Following the initial announcement of the collaboration with NVIDIA in December, Yes by YTL Communications is thrilled to announce the official Exclusive Beta launch of the NVIDIA GeForce NOW cloud gaming service in Malaysia.

Leveraging Yes’ world-class 5G services, cloud gaming on GeForce NOW powered by Yes 5G will allow nearly any device to be transformed into extremely high-quality gaming setups, through the processing power of the cloud. Be it at home or on the go, as long as users are connected to the internet, they are free to enjoy their gaming experience anytime, anywhere — seamlessly picking up where they left off from device to device. With Yes 5G’s service, members’ overall mobile gaming experience will be much smoother and more responsive, with lower latency on 5G mobile networks compared to 4G.

In line with its ‘5G for All’ mission for all Malaysians, Yes’ collaboration with NVIDIA will help to remove the upfront cost of gaming equipment, the need to own high-storage systems or purchase yearly hardware upgrades. This will lower the barrier for Malaysians of all backgrounds to enjoy the same world-class gaming experiences.

“We are proud to finally bring our collaboration with NVIDIA in Malaysia into fruition and kick start our Exclusive Beta phase of the GeForce NOW cloud gaming platform,” said Wing K. Lee, CEO of YTL Communications. “Through this Exclusive Beta launch, we hope to deliver to our customers and gamers an unparalleled entertainment experience, amplified with Yes 5G, allowing them to explore their fullest gaming potential before anyone else.”

GeForce NOW powered by Yes 5G connects to most major game platforms such as Steam, Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft, so avid gamers will also be able to continue playing games they already own and love, without having to repurchase. They will have access to the latest and greatest games with over 1,500 titles to stream, such as Cyberpunk 2077, the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Destiny 2, and over 100 free-to-play games, including Fortnite and Genshin Impact.

To take part in the Exclusive Beta, existing customers of Yes 5G can sign up now at http://cloudgaming.my, while those new to Yes 5G can become a Yes subscriber at www.yes.my to enjoy this early access benefit.
