One of the best video game festivals that blends gaming and music together like a beautiful hyper combo will be coming back again next year.

Super MAGFest 2024 will be returning to National Harbor, MD, in the USA from 18 January to 21 January; that’s a weekend’s worth of 24/7 gaming, partying, and music concert festivities combined. This time, the organizers are going for a Metroid Prime look and theme; the trailer video basically called this upcoming show Magfest Prime, after all.

“The biggest Music and Gaming Festival in the world returns to National Harbor, MD this January! That’s right, it’s time to arm your cannons, activate your scan visor, and prepare yourself for four days of non-stop music, gaming, and bounty hunting.

Join us in descending to the MAGLord IV (commonly known on Earth as the Gaylord National) this January 18th to 21st, and help us once again bring peace to the galaxy.”

More details about the event, guests, and headliner acts will be announced in the next few months, most likely closer to November and December 2023. Stay tuned to the website for more info. If it’s anything like the last few MAGFest events, expect great music, big hallways full of jam sessions and cosplayers, freeplay gaming and arcade areas that are open all day and night, and merch from respectable places like J!nx and Fangamer. It’s pricey, but worth it for a once-in-a-lifetime video game music community-driven event.
