Alan Wake 2 Voice Actor Leaks Game’s Potential Release Month
By Alleef Ashaari|May 22, 2023|0 Comment
It seems like Alan Wake 2 will be launching sometime in October 2023, according to one of the voice actors from the game. This came directly from voice actor Matthew Porretta, who voices the main protagonist, Alan Wake.
He accidentally spilled the beans in the latest episode of the Monsters, Madness, and Magic podcast (via Gematsu):
The interviewer asked:
“One of my all-time favorite games is Alan Wake. So when it comes to your voice acting work, is that something that happened naturally through working, or is it something you made an effort to pursue?”
Matthew Porretta replied:
“I’ve been working on it—that’s supposed to come out in October. We’re in the middle of working on it now. In fact I was just in Finland last week. That’s where the company’s from—Remedy—amazing people.”
Alan Wake 2 was originally announced at The Game Awards in December 2021 and was previously confirmed by the developer that it will release sometime in 2023.
As for now, we should take this with a grain of salt, since it may be a mistake on Matthew Porretta’s part.
Alan Wake 2 is slated to release for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
