Games Events Update: October 2017

October is lining up to be quite an eventful month for gamers in the southeast Asian region as folks in Singapore and the Philippines are set to experience respective country’s largest gaming event.

First up is in Singapore where the fourth edition of GameStart is set to take place at Suntec Halls 401-403 from the 14th to 15th. Expect a good time at the event as the big guns such PlayStation and Bandai Namco have confirmed their presence at the event and you can check the full list of exhibitors at their official website. Entrance fees start at SG$12 for a one-day access and full details can be found here.

About two weeks on, ESGS 2017 is set to take place at SMX Convention Centre in Manila from the 27th to 29th. A bit more skewed towards the esports side of things, this is one event esports enthusiasts would not want to miss. With a very impressive lineup of exhibitors, ESGS is one of the highly underrated regional events and you’d be wise to start charting your trip to Manila come late October.

Tickets start from PHP170 for Friday access and full details can be found here.

Screen Shot 2017-09-28 at 8.44.17 am We plan to cover both events (fingers crossed) and will update you with the latest news for both events. We don’t get many events such as these in the region and we welcome more organizers in bringing in quality events focusing on consumers.
