According to Deadline, Vincent D’Onofrio will reprise his role as Wilson Fisk a.k.a the Kingpin in Daredevil Season 3 which is expected to go into production in 2018. The main villain in Season 1, we saw glimpses of him in Season 2, mainly in prison as he faced the imprisoned Frank Castle. His fate at the end of Season 2 was pretty sketchy but following this news, we hope the New York crimelord gets more screentime this time around.

“Vincent is an exceptional actor who returns with the incredible gravitas he brings to Fisk,” EP and Marvel TV Chief Jeph Loeb told Deadline. “We’re very excited how Marvel’s Daredevil develops through the creative lens and guidance of our new showrunner, Erik Oleson.” he added.

Daredevil Season 3 should pick up right after the happenings of Netflix’s The Defenders. With The Hand pretty much wiped out at the end of the series, expect Wilson Fisk to resume the top spot amongst the many crime organizations plaguing Manhattan and its surrounding boroughs. As for the Daredevil, we suspect a twist on who dons the red suit following Matt Murdock’s fate at the end of The Defenders.
