Overwatch League Transfers: FCTFCTN Reunites with Team USA; Now An Outlaw
By Kenn Leandre|February 17, 2018|0 Comment
It’s a reunion of sorts for the 2017 Overwatch World Cup Team USA with tank main, Russell “FCTFCTN” Campbell set to join the Houston Outlaws. FCTFCTN was part of Team USA which crashed out in the quarter-finals to eventual champions, Team South Korea and pending Blizzard’s approval, will again link with his former Team USA teammates who are already members of the Outlaws; JAKE, Coolmat and Rawkus, who was also his teammate at FaZe Clan.

Another ex-FaZe Clan alumni, Alexandre “SPREE” Vanhomwegen, is also in the Outlaws roster while the rest; George “ShaDowBurn” Gushcha, Joe “Joemeister” Gramano and Jae-hyeok “Carpe” Lee all play for Philadelphia Fusion.
Despite a slow start to Stage 1, the Outlaws finished third and lost to eventual Stage 1 champions, London Spitfire in the playoff stage. The addition of FCTFCTN alleviates the pressure on the sole Outlaws tank, Muma as well as reflecting on the shift of the meta which may heavily favor tanks following the Mercy nerf.
With the league on a break prior to the start of Stage 2 come February 23rd, teams are allowed to sign in new players and you can keep yourself up to date with these moves by bookmarking this page, where we compile all the transfers happening in the Overwatch League.Â
