Satisfy Your Ramen Cravings With These Cup Noodle HyperX Headphones

Cup Noodles maker Nissin and gaming peripherals giant HyperX are teaming up to bring you a limited edition pair of headphones (via GeekCulture). However, these aren’t just any garden-variety headphones. They literally look like two cups of Nissin ramen stuck on both sides of your head.

The joke doesn’t end there, folks. To push their noodle cup theme even further, the HyperX Cup MIX-Ins headphones even come attached with a microphone that looks like one of those plastic forks you find in, you guessed it, cup noodles.

Nissin dubs it the ‘microphork’, which (according to them) will “cancel out all Cup Noodle slurping sounds while still delivering crystal-clear sound quality… the patent-pending Noodletteâ„¢ ear pads woven together with noodle fibers deliver the silky soft caress of ramen noodles for your ears.”

We’re not making any of this up. The HyperX Cup MIX-Ins headphones will be released on 1 April 2019 (no, it’s not an April Fools’ joke, we promise) on the official online Nissin Fan Store.

Feast your eyes on the HyperX Cup MIX-Ins headphones below.

This isn’t the first time that Nissin is venturing into gaming, with the company recently working with Bandai Namco to make Jump Force-themed Cup Noodles. They’re also no strangers to esports. Nissin partnered with Evo 2018 last year, sponsoring the tournament and had a booth at the event.
