Days Gone To Feature New Difficulty & Challenges This June

Sony Interactive Bend Studio announced that its action-adventure post-apocalyptic title Days Gone will receive free post-launch content starting this June. Specifically, Survival Mode and Weekly Challenges.

According to the PlayStation Blog, Survival Mode can be accessed after you finish the game. This mode will test players with an increased difficulty setting, no fast travel options, no Survival Vision (the game’s method of tracking and seeking stuff), and a new HUD that removes maps and indicators from the gameplay screen.

The Weekly Challenges will provide a new Bike, Horde, or Combat challenge to test players. Finishing them will reward players with additional items and other bonuses like unique bike skins not included in the game.

New PlayStation Trophies related to completing Survival Mode and Weekly Challenges will be added. Kakuchopurei’s Days Gone review & guides will be up later this week, so stay tuned for that.
