[Report] GTA 6 Confirmed

GTA 6 is one of those games that has long been rumored to be secretly in development. While Rockstar Games has yet to officially announced the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto franchise, a new piece of information may confirm the existence of GTA VI.

According to a post by ResetEra user @deadasdisco, GTAForums member @ApolloThunder discovered that a former Rockstar Games India employee named Bibin Michael has listed GTA 6 as one of the games he had worked on in his digital resume on the website Artstation.

The listing states that he worked as a “Vehicle Artist” at Rockstar India, creating in-game concept vehicles for GTA 5 DLC and GTA 6. While the resume looks pretty questionable in nature, there is, in fact, a Rockstar Games subsidiary in Bangalore, India, which launched only three years ago in 2016.

GTA 6 Report

It may be a while yet before Rockstar Games officially announces GTA 6, the most likely time of which would probably be during the launches of a next-gen console like the PS5 or Xbox Scarlett. However, it’s still exciting to find little (albeit unconfirmed) details like this that point to the game still being in active development.

It’s been six years since GTA V was released, and even then, it actually initially launched for the PS3 and Xbox 360. A GTA VI game would probably look a lot like Red Dead Redemption 2 in terms of visuals, though it has even bigger potential if it does turn out to be a launch title for the next generation of consoles.
