MapleStorySEA To Introduce New Class With Its Next Major Patch

MapleStorySEA is set to release its next major patch on 22 May 2019 and with it a bunch of new content and improvements. It will not only rebalance existing classes, introduce a new theme dungeon (Secret Forest Elludin), Singaporean/Malaysian maps revamped onto Starforce maps, but also a brand new job class.

The first new job class to be introduced in MapleStorySEA in the upcoming patch is the Pathfinder, a ranged specialist wielding an Ancient Bow marked by a curse. With a new system called the Relic Gauge, Pathfinders can charge their weapon using three different Cardinal skills.

With a full gauge, they can then unleash devastatingly powerful skills, some of which can be further enhanced with special characteristics from the basic archer skills. While the Pathfinder class will only be available in early June 2019, players can pre-register here from 15 May to 2 June 2019 to obtain special rewards.

There will also be a pre-creation period where players can create their Pathfinder character in advance before the class unlocks, starting on 22 May 2019. Last but not least, Tera Burning (which was introduced during the Black Mage patch in 2018) will be making a return to MapleStorySEA from 22 May to 18 June 2019.

In the meantime, check out the teaser trailer for Pathfinder below.
