The My Hero Academia Fighting Game Is Getting A Sequel

My Hero One’s Justice was released barely a year ago and a sequel has already been announced. Looking at its scale as a fighting game, it’s not too surprising but has Byking and Bandai Namco had enough time to fix the first game’s weaknesses?

Well, we’ll have to wait for New York Comic-Con 2019 to happen first because that’s where new information will be revealed next. The game’s website was just launched today and there’s barely anything on it aside from a description that reads:

Following the well-received My Hero Academia battle action game My Hero One’s Justice, the sequel My Hero One’s Justice 2 is set to appear on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch with volume far greater than the first game!

Freely run about each stage in intense battles that utilize unique “Quirks” that produce superhuman powers.

(Translation from Gematsu.)

New York Comic-Con starts next week on 3 October and will run until 6 October 2019 at the Javits Center in Manhattan. The official My Hero Academia website announced that a teaser trailer will be coming out soon. That’s probably what we’re getting at NYCC.
