Here’s What To Expect From The Next Modern Warfare Patch Update

The new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is pretty much a homerun for the series. The single player campaign and the multiplayer is as hectic and fun as it was many years ago. However, there are always kinks to be ironed out and Infinity Ward is working hard to fix them.

Ashton Williams, Infinity Ward’s senior communications manager tweeted out that a patch is coming this week to fix a few things that most players have been facing. This might include the crashes that PC players have been a victim of.

Of course, there aren’t any official patch notes yet but here’s what been hinted at:

  • Kill feed changes that will remove some of the notifications like “…avenged you” to allow for collats and other kill chains to show up clean in the feed.
  • Many bug fixes and updates to challenges and officer rank progression challenges – there’s a lot of challenges that are not tracking properly still. This upcoming update is expected to resolve many of these.
  • Potential updates to the tanks in Ground War. Infinity Ward dev confirmed that they’re working on nerfing them, but it was not mentioned as to when to expect it.
  • Other Weapon tuning updates – possible more changes to the 725, amongst other updates.
