The vehicular combat genre is practically non-existent now, with the exception of the soccer car hybrid game Rocket League. 1996’s Twisted Metal 2 was the most successful title in the franchise which produced several of the best vehicular combat video games. Nothing beats the feeling of a chaotic demolition derby with your friends.

The game franchise’s flaming skull mascot dude named Sweet Tooth also reminded us of Marvel’s Ghost Rider when we were kids, which is awesome. Oh, and he even makes driving an ice cream truck cool, so imagine that. Unfortunately, this was the last Twisted Metal to be developed by SingleTrac, followed by their dispute with Sony.
