Watch Spawn Wield Machine Guns In New Mortal Kombat 11 Gameplay Trailer

Two weeks ago, Spawn creator Todd McFarlane revealed that the superhero would be heading to Mortal Kombat 11 this month. Now, we’ve got an official gameplay trailer to see what Spawn is capable of.

The answer is quite a bit, as it turns out. This is my first time seeing Spawn in action in any medium, and I like how he doesn’t just have the energy of both the green and fiery kind, but also chains, guns, and a mace. He can even turn invisible and whack opponents with his cape.

There’s also the part where he spawns a bunch of guns from his cape and unloads them all at Scorpion. Poor Scorpion.

Voiced again by the one and only Keith David (who originally voiced Spawn in the classic HBO animated series), Spawn is the last of the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack characters and the second one with comic book origins. Not too long ago, we had the Clown Prince of Crime himself.

Spawn will join the Mortal Kombat 11 roster in Early Access on 17 March 2020, before getting a full release on 24 March 2020.
