Sony & Marvel Delays Spider-Man 3, Doctor Strange 2, Spider-Verse 2 & More

Sony Pictures and Disney have announced yet more movie delays due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. The sequel to 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home has been pushed to 5 November 2021 from its original 16 July 2021 release date, while Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness has been delayed to 25 March 2022, instead of 5 November 2021.

Meanwhile, the sequel to 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is now opening on 7 October 2022 instead of 8 April 2022. Thor: Love and Thunder will now be releasing a week earlier on 11 February 2022.

  • Tom Holland pic Uncharted – 16 July 2021 (Original Release Date: 8 October 2021)
  • Hotel Transylvania 4 – 6 August 2021 (Original Release Date: 22 December 2021)
  • Man From Toronto – 17 September 2021 (Original Release Date: 20 November 2020)
  • The Nightingale – TBD (Original Release Date: 25 December 2020)
