Left 4 Dead Dev Reveals First Look At New Zombie Game Back 4 Blood

Last year, Left 4 Dead developer Turtle Rock Studios announced that they were working on a new online co-op multiplayer FPS zombie game, Back 4 Blood. More than a year has passed, and they have revealed the first concept art from the upcoming game.

Posted on their official Twitter account, the Back 4 Blood concept art shows off what seems to be a makeshift human settlement or fortress of some kind, which is presumably to keep away zombies. Interestingly, it’s surrounded by fortifications and traps for defensive purposes.

Back 4 Blood

It’s still too early to say at this point, but those fortifications and traps may mean that players will be able to utilize them in the game to hold off zombies and enemies. Of course, that has yet to be confirmed by the developer.

Turtle Rock Studios have already previously clarified that Back 4 Blood won’t be a sequel to Left 4 Dead 2, though it will retain many of the same elements with the addition of new and unique stuff as well.

Back 4 Blood is slated to release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, though no release date or window has been announced.
