No Straight Roads Brings In Profit First Day After Launch

Today EG7 (owner of No Straight Roads publisher Sold Out) has announced that the recently-released title is already profitable just one day after its release on 25 August 2020 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Developed by Malaysian developer Metronomik, No Straight Roads is an action-adventure game that mashes together rhythm-infused combat with a vibrant offbeat world and a killer soundtrack.

August 25, 2020, marked the digital release of No Straight Roads on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC exclusively via the Epic Games Store.

EG7 CEO Robin Flodin said (via press release):

“Both Metronomik and Sold Out have worked hard for several years with No Straight Roads and I am happy to see that the title is off to a good start commercially.”

This is good news for the Malaysian video games industry as a whole, as a Malaysian-made game is able to achieve success on the global stage. You can check out our full review of No Straight Roads here.
