Outriders Has Been Delayed To 2021

Publisher Square Enix and developer People Can Fly have announced that Outriders has been delayed to 2 February 2021. It is slated to release for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store).

They also confirmed that the upcoming third-person shooter game will support crossplay across all platforms and that those who buy the game on current-gen consoles (PS4 and Xbox One) will get a free upgrade to the next-gen version (PS5 and Xbox Series X).

Outriders was initially slated to be released sometime in Holiday 2020.

Square Enix External Studios co-head Jon Brooke said:

“We’re very happy to announce that we can offer full crossplay support and a free next-gen upgrade plan for OUTRIDERS players.

Even if you’re not picking up your PS5 or Xbox Series X
quite yet, we’ve got you covered.

If you buy the current-gen version of OUTRIDERS, we’ll give
you the next-gen version for free,“
