David Ramsey To Return As Diggle & Mystery Character In Arrowverse Shows

David Ramsey, best known for playing the role of John Diggle AKA one of Oliver Queen’s best friends on CW’s Arrow, will be reprising his role as the character in other CWVerse (the current name for what was formerly known as the Arrowverse) and also to direct several episodes.

According to Deadline, Ramsey will direct five episodes across several shows, including Superman & Lois and Supergirl. He will guest star as John Diggle in five other episodes across the Arrowverse, including Superman & Lois, Supergirl, The Flash and Batwoman.

However, the most intriguing detail is that he will be playing a mystery role in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. It’s unclear who this character could be, but fans have long speculated that he might become the Arrowverse’s version of Green Lantern John Stewart.

We last saw David Ramsey as John Diggle in the Arrow series finale, where the character moved to Metropolis after finding a glowing object in a box. It is assumed to be a power ring, which is wielded by members of the Green Corps.

Stay tuned on Kakuchopurei if this will ultimately turn out to be true (or false).

In a statement, Ramsey said:

“I remain in awe of the imprint these shows have had on television and I’ve been blessed for the better part of a decade to be a part of them both in front of and behind the camera.

To say I’m excited beyond belief to return to the Berlantiverse would be an understatement. I can’t wait to continue telling these stories.”
