Fortnite’s New Limited Time Mode Is An Among Us Clone
Epic Games has introduced a new Limited Time Mode in Fortnite, and it’s essentially Among Us in all but name.
In Fortnite‘s The Spy Within, ten players start in a match knowing what team they’re on (either agents or spies) but not the team of any other players. Two players (the spies) will work to eliminate the other eight without giving away their identities.
Meanwhile, the eight true agents must complete a number of objectives before time runs out or they’re all killed.
Just like Among Us, if a body is discovered, a player can call a meeting to hold a vote on who to jettison. However, players will only be able to use voice chat during these meetings.
The Limited Time Mode playlist will change every few days to feature a new The Spy Within game variant created by several community members; DolphinDom, KKSlider, Bunni_, Wert, Blanky, jstKamui, MackJack, Ritual and Snownymous, who Epic highlights in its own post about the mode.
