[Rumour] Battlefield 6 Is Coming To Xbox Game Pass

It’s been a while since we last heard from EA DICE about the next entry in the Battlefield franchise. Now rumours are circulating again about Battlefield 6, or Battlefield VI.

According to video game industry insider Shpeshal Ed in a recent XboxEra Podcast, he said:

“There is a third party, Triple-A, first-person shooter that is very highly likely to be launching in Game Pass this fall.”

In the same podcast, XboxEra co-founder and Editor-In-Chief Jon Clarke explained:

“My other bet would be Battlefield 6 because the EA Play relationship already exists.

And I’m sure Microsoft are sharing lots and lots of lovely numbers on what it does for a player base when you’ve got 20 million people immediately available to play your game.”

In the past, Ed has been a credible source of leaks and rumours in the past, even most recently leaking that Final Fantasy VII Remake would be a free PlayStation Plus game in March 2021 before it was even officially announced. Most recently, he also leaked that Remedy Entertainment might be working on a PlayStation exclusive.

That said, we should take all of this with a grain of salt for now, and wait for something more official from either Microsoft Xbox or EA.
