Blizzard Lost Almost A Third Of Its Player Base In Three Years
By Alleef Ashaari|May 5, 2021|0 Comment
In its latest investor report for Q1 2021, Activision Blizzard has announced that the games that made the most money were Call Of Duty, World Of Warcraft, and Candy Crush. Overall, the company reported total revenue of US$2.28B, which is a significant increase compared to the same quarter from last year.
According to Massively Overpowered, the company is actually losing monthly active users, including over 11 million players in the last three years alone. One of the reasons why this is happening is probably due to the lack of new games or meaningful updates. Plus, they’re busy working on Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4, both of which won’t even be coming out in 2021.
