The Next Biomutant Patch Will Double The Level Cap

The animal-filled and environmental-savvy shooter brawler RPG Biomutant just received a major patch.

The patch has doubled the level cap of the game from 50 to 100. In addition, PC gamers will also receive display settings to switch between horizontal or vertical field of view adjustments for aspect ratio-adjusting purposes.

The level cap increase is meant for players who want to tackle New Game+, meaning that the loot will be more variable for players as they progress to a higher level. There will also be several new items with higher stats than their lower rarity counterparts, meaning that there will be better versions of the same lower-level items you love keeping around. Speaking of loot, you can now scrap items from the loot screen with the new update.

The full patch notes are here. For more Biomutant, check out our review and guide.
