EA Play Live Spotlight Kicks Off Tonight With Battlefield 2042 & Apex Legends
By Alleef Ashaari|July 8, 2021|0 Comment
EA kicks off its march towards EA Play Live 2021 with The Future of FPS Spotlight, featuring Respawn Entertainment founder Vince Zampella and DICE General Manager Oskar Gabrielson, among others. This will be the first in EA’s new Spotlight Series, which will provide fans with a chance to gain insights from developers themselves and even a few surprise pieces of news along the way.
Zampella and Gabrielson will be joined by Ripple Effect Studios ’ General Manager Christian Grass and Apex Legends Game Director Chad Grenier as they chat with IGN’s Stella Chung to discuss the latest on Battlefield 2042 and Apex Legends, and what fans can expect to see from both games at EA Play Live on 22 July 2021.
Ripple Effect is the newly-formed developer from what was previously DICE LA. Last month, DICE revealed Battlefield 2042 to the world with its breathtaking reveal trailer and first look at All-Out Warfare, the game’s first major experience featuring the next generation of fan-favourite modes Conquest and Breakthrough.
Soon, at EA Play Live on 22 July 2021, Ripple Effect will reveal the game’s next thrilling experience, one that long-time Battlefield players will feel right at home with.
Apex Legends recently celebrated its two year anniversary where it also hit over 100 million total players worldwide. Those tuning in tomorrow can expect to hear more about what Respawn learned from the game’s early success, how Arenas will be expanding Apex Legends beyond Battle Royale and what’s coming up in the next major update.
Fans can tune in to watch The Future of FPS Spotlight tonight at 1am GMT+8 on 9 July 2021. Check out the link below:
