SWERY’s The Good Life Will Be Out This October
SWERY, the developer known for his weird adventure games like Deadly Premonition and D4, will be releasing his upcoming small-town photography investigation game The Good Life next month.
Published by Playism, the game will launch for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch this 15th October, and will feature photography tasks and adventure type stuff, as well as bits where you transform into a cat or dog and wander the night.
Yeah, it’s pretty out there, but we won’t have it any other way if it’s from SWERY. Trailer & product description are below.
Synopsis
Welcome to Rainy Woods!
Naomi Hayward finds herself far from her New York home. Out of her depth and drowning in debt, she is commissioned by The Morning Bell newspaper to uncover the mystery behind Rainy Woods—a rural English town considered to be the ‘happiest in the world.’ With her camera at the ready she starts her investigation but soon finds that the town—and its wonderfully quirky residents—are hiding many secrets. Not least, why they transform into cats and dogs at night. Caught up in the town’s enchantment—Naomi must use her newfound animal skills to uncover the truth about Rainy Woods.
