Xbox PC Game Pass Is Coming To Malaysia & Other Southeast Asian Countries

Microsoft has announced that the Xbox PC Game Pass is coming to Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam for the first time. Beginning today, players can register for the PC Game Pass preview (by downloading the Xbox Insider Hub here), giving them access to a library of over 100 games including new Xbox Game Studios releases on day one, Bethesda games, and an EA Play membership for one low monthly price.

Players can trial PC Game Pass for RM1.00 for the duration of the preview as Microsoft continues to setup and test the local payment systems. PC Game Pass includes MinecraftForza Horizon 5Age of Empires IVSea of Thieves and Microsoft Flight Simulator, among others. This includes new Xbox Game Studios titles on day one like Halo Infinite, as well as franchises like Fallout and The Elder Scrolls from Bethesda Softworks, independent games and blockbusters. EA Play is also included with the service, featuring franchises like FIFA, Battlefield, The Sims and Mass Effect.

If you’ve joined the PC Game Pass Preview and still can’t find it in your Xbox App, go to your Xbox App and look for Minecraft For Windows + Launcher with the Game Pass label on it. Click on the green Play With Game Pass button, and the PC Game Pass tab should appear above the My Library tab, prompting you to pay RM0.50 for the first month.

Jeremy Hinton, Xbox Asia Business Lead, said:

“At Xbox, our mission is simple, to bring the joy and community of gaming to everyone on the planet. Bringing PC Game Pass to new countries in Southeast Asia is an important part of how we will achieve this as we strive to reach billions of players.”

Xbox PC Game Pass is slated to fully launch in Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam sometime later this year. If you’re getting it right now, here’s a list of awesome games you should play on the subscription service.
