ROG & Yoodo Hosting Amateur Mobile Legends League Running From May To July

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) is teaming up with Yoodo to host an amateur Mobile Legends league later this month.

Aptly named ROG x Yoodo MLBB Esports Amateur League, this league will feature 64 teams from all over Malaysia as they go head-to-head for a shot at a total prize pool of RM12,000 and 20,000 MLBB Diamonds.

Chow Tuck Mun, Head of Yoodo, couldn’t be more excited to reveal the partnership. He stated:

“Yoodo has always been dedicated to bringing the best action to gamers in Malaysia, and we’re confident that participants will bring their A game for a thrilling and nail-biting tournament.”

With long-standing desires to tap into the mobile gaming sphere, Yoodo makes for the perfect partner for ROG to expand their dominance in the world of gaming. The community cup will provide a platform for young talents to sharpen their skills and promote healthy competition among local esports players. Yoodo Head later added:

“As champions of grassroots gaming, Yoodo is always looking for more ways to empower young talented gamers with opportunities to grow and showcase their talent. We’re thrilled to have sought out a like-minded partner in ROG with similar values and goals and look forward to how we can explore even further prongs of this partnership,”

Commenting on the partnership, Marcia Sung, Malaysia & Indonesia Country Product Manager for Smartphone Business Unit said

“There is no better way for us to expand into the mobile gaming arena than with the support of a partner which has tremendous experience in mobilegaming like Yoodo. No doubt this partnership will lend tremendous weight to Republic of Gamers(ROG) presence in the mobile gaming world, an area in which we have been keen to expand intofor quite a while. This tournament marks only the beginning of our work together, and we areexcited to begin planning future initiatives, all designed to benefit the consumer and gaming fansalike.”

League Stage: 4, 5, 25, 26 June
Grand Finals: 2 July

Registration for the league starts today, 19 May until 27 May, with the Grand Final scheduled for 2 July. Teams can sign up here.
