Holocure 0.5 Update Now Live; Here Is What’s New In This Version

The 2D roguelite action game Holocure, which is like Vampire Survivors but with a strafe button and has Hololive characters, has received a new 0.5 update.

The 0.5 update features 9 new Hololive Vtuber characters to play as (via Reddit):

• Yuzuki Choco
• Nakiri Ayame
• Minato Aqua
• Murasaki Shion

The update also features 9 new main weapons & Special Attacks:

• Mel Bite
• Subaru Baseball Ball
• Aqua Broom
• Choco Syringe
• Shion Magic
• Ayame twin Katanas : Rakshasa and Asura

• Aki Roses
• Subaru Speaker
• Kusogakick
• Choco sexiness

Gameplay-wise, characters will get new sub-weapons, 4 new items, 1 new Super Item, and 27 new skills. We’ll update this piece when we get the full info.

Other additions include:

New Game Modes

• Two New Stages; one of them is inspired by “??? Halloween Night”.
• New Game Mode: this mode requires you to kill 5,000 enemies in a restricted Arena.

New Mechanics

• Randomized weapon stats and enchants.
• Oshi “Following Level” system; this gives your existing characters bonuses so they’re stronger and more fun to play as with each playthrough. As you continue to play your favorite idol more, their Following Level may increase to “Fan”, up to “Oshi”! When an idol raises their Following Level, they may gain benefits in-game, such as starting with skills already levelled!
