Keep in mind that this is a time when Christian Slater was “lost” in Hollywood. Somehow he gave a cashing-in-the-paycheck performance alongside Stephen Dorf and Tara Reid (who plays a scientist; super-believable). You’d think they’d have some chemistry together and can elevate a typical survival horror script, but you’d be wrong.

Uwe Boll somehow doesn’t give two effs on the show’s production values, its script, and its narrative. It clearly shows; you’ll either be bored halfway trying to be invested in this ordeal or just laughing at how inept everything is.
