This 3D Fighting Game Features Crabs & Chainsaws; Available Now

Would you play a game called Fight Crab? At the very least, you’d be a mite curious.

We’re pleased to announce that the eternal question -what if crabs can wield weapons and fight each other underwater?- has been answered in the form of PC game Fight Crab. It features giant crabs and is available now on itch.io in Early Access form. Note: you may need a VPN to access this.

Here is the game’s official plot, if you can call it that.

“In this far-off world, these crabs were granted ultimate strength and intelligence from the generous gods,” so reads the description. “Using their newfound strength and wit, they armed themselves with human weapons of the finest calibre, and took control of the lands. Immortal beings of unrelenting horror, they cannot be killed with swords or even guns.

However, there is only one principle fact that rules these lands; “Those who are flipped onto their shells, shall be cooked into a crab cake, or mouth-watering rangoon.”

And flip you shall! Your chosen giant crab will be brandishing weapons like katanas, lightsabers, and chainsaws; you’ll be fighting against other giant enemy crabs and flip them over for massive damage.

The Early Access version seems meaty enough; you get to pick between 19 species of crab and 41 types of weapons. Developer Nusso said they will continuously update the game. Check out the trailer below if you’re not feeling too shellfish and want to share the love.
