In late September, Warner Bros. Games Montréal tweeted for the first time in four years on their official Twitter page and it was a teaser for what might be an upcoming Batman game. Looks like an official announcement is coming very soon.

YouTuber Slcmof has just uploaded a video revealing that he has received insider information telling him that a new Batman game from WB Montréal will be announced at The Game Awards 2019 on 12 December 2019. This is the same insider that previously told him about the Damian Wayne video game which was apparently cancelled.

It should be noted that Slcmof’s informant, named Gabe, isn’t someone working at WB Montréal so this is very much second or third hand info. Take it with a grain of salt. However, it’s still highly probably since WB Montréal’s website will display “You’ll be hearing from us soon!” when you sign up for the website’s makeover which is still ongoing.

Seeing as how The Game Awards 2019 is a great time for many publishers and developers to unveil their games that are scheduled to be released in 2020, we’re definitely going to be seeing a lot of reveals. Hopefully a new Batman game is one of them.
