Happy 25th Anniversary, PlayStation! The Best PS1 Games Of All Time
Spider-Man

Before 2004’s Spider-Man 2 and 2018’s Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man, the best Spidey game of all time was 2000’s Neversoft Spider-Man game. Despite running on the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater engine, it was an expansive and comic-authentic experience, unlike anything we’ve ever seen in a video game (at the time).
Heck, they even got the late Stan ‘The Man’ Lee to narrate the game, and it featured all the best stuff from the Spider-Man comics, including many of his iconic villains, like Venom, Carnage, Scorpion, Rhino and more.
It captured the genuine spirit of the friendly neighbourhood wall-crawler and remains a great game even if you played it today.
