Besides Nintendo’s Mario, Crash Bandicoot might be the most recognisable platforming mascot in video game history. 1996’s Crash Bandicoot may be rough around the edges, but it was memorable for its notoriously-difficult gameplay and eye-popping vibrant visuals.
With the recent Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, all three games are now playable on pretty much all the modern major consoles. However, back in the 90s, Crash Bandicoot was synonymous with representing the PlayStation brand, just like Mario and Sonic is for Nintendo and Sega, respectively.
