After first releasing on the Epic Games Store last May, Outer Wilds will be arriving on Steam in a few months.

Developer Annapurna Interactive recently released a Steam release date trailer, revealing the release date to be 18 June. So it’s less than three months to go before you can get your hands on it.

Outer Wilds, which I keep mistaking for The Outer Worlds, received great reviews when it came out and earned a mention on our Best of 2019 roundup. Our former writer Burhan called it “one of those rare games that will give you eureka moments very often. Coupled with a fine-tuned soundtrack that’s relevant to the narrative, and you have a space-faring journey unlike any other that even the late David Bowie would be jealous about.”

The Steam description calls it “a critically-acclaimed and award-winning open-world mystery about a solar system trapped in an endless time loop”, which does sound like one heck of a journey. You can add it to your wishlist here.
