PlayStation Starts Off Play At Home Initiative With A Lot Of Uncharted…
One of the few good things to come out of the COVID-19 pandemic is a lot of time to catch up with some digital interactive entertainment. Sony PlayStation is capitalizing on that with its Play At Home initiative, where they’re providing free games to keep the PlayStation community entertained while practising social distancing, as well as establish a fund to help smaller independent game studios facing financial difficulties. The latter is earmarked for US$10 million, with more info on it coming soon.
To kick things off, PlayStation is offering Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and indie game Journey for free through digital downloads from 15th April to 5th May. Once you redeem the titles, they are yours to keep.
Just to recap, the Uncharted collection features remasters of part 1, 2, and 3. Journey pits you as a lone wanderer who can sand-surf and discover the meaning of time and life. Don’t question it; just enjoy the ride.
