Wonder Woman 1984 To Premiere In Malaysia Earlier Than The U.S.
By Alleef Ashaari|November 19, 2020|0 Comment
It was announced a few months ago that Wonder Woman 1984 would premiere in cinemas on 25 December 2020 worldwide. As an early Christmas gift, fans in selected countries can look forward to watching the movie even earlier.
Warner Bros has announced that the movie will premiere in several international markets on 16 December 2020. In Malaysia, Wonder Woman 1984 will premiere on 17 December 2020, which has been confirmed by local cinema chain GSC Cinemas.
However, as pointed out by GSC Cinemas, this new release date is subject to whether cinemas in Malaysia will re-open in time. This is especially so considering that the latest and current CMCO is slated to end on 6 December 2020, but there’s a possibility that it might still be extended.
In addition, Wonder Woman 1984 will also premiere on the HBO Max streaming service alongside cinemas on 25 December 2020 (via The Verge). The movie will be available to watch on HBO Max for a limited window of one month at no additional cost, albeit only for those in the U.S.
