Resident Evil 4 Will Be Playable On Facebook Oculus VR

During the new Resident Evil Village showcase today, Facebook has announced that it will make the classic title Resident Evil 4 playable on its Oculus VR platform.

Capcom, Oculus Studios, and Armature Studio are teaming up to make Resident Evil 4 on the Oculus Quest 2 VR headset. Basically you’ll be playing the game in a first-person perspective as Leon Kennedy as he attempts to complete his rescue mission. From shooting to reloading to turning cranks to typing on a typewriter, you’ll be doing all that in a first-person perspective.

Whether it’ll be the full game played in this perspective, or just key bits of RE4’s pivotal moments made in a VR moment remains to be seen. Apart from gameplay teases, little else is detailed or shown. We’ll be getting more information during the Oculus Gaming Showcase on 22nd April GMT+8.
