Y: The Last Man TV Series Finally Gets A Release Date

FX’s highly-anticipated TV series adaptation of Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra’s Y: The Last Man has finally received an official premiere date. The first episode will premiere on Hulu on 13 September 2021 (via CBR).
The current showrunner for FX’s Y: The Last Man is Eliza Clark of Animal Kingdom and Killing fame. Actor Ben Schnetzer will portray protagonist Yorick Brown, a young escape artist who finds himself and his pet monkey, Ampersand, to be the last two surviving males on Earth after an apocalyptic event that annihilated everyone with a Y chromosome.
The cast for Y: The Last Man also includes Diane Lane, Ashley Romans, Olivia Thirlby, Amber Tamblyn, Marin Ireland, Diana Bang, Elliot Fletcher and Juliana Canfield. Vaughan himself will be an executive producer, along with showrunner Eliza Clark, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Mari Jo Winkler-Ioffreda, and Melina Matsoukas.
Oh, and in case you missed it, Ampersand the monkey has also been cast as well. However, no trailer has been unveiled so far.
