Netflix Celebrates Stranger Things’ 5th Anniversary With Throwback Video

Yesterday, 15 July 2021, marked the fifth anniversary of the first season of Stranger Things. That’s right, it’s been half a decade since 2016 when we first set foot in Hawkins, Indiana.

In celebration of five years of Stranger Things, Netflix is taking it back to where it began with a retrospective video of throwbacks to some of the hit show’s most memorable moments. You’ll see everything from Eleven’s iconic pink dress and love for Eggos to the gang’s heartwarming friendship and the wonder of Steve’s floofy hair.

In over five years, it’s no surprise that the cast has also grown quite a bit since we first met them. Check out the cast photos that were taken from each season below:

Stranger Things Season 1.

Stranger Things Season 2.

Stranger Things Season 3.

Currently, there is no official release date/window yet for Stranger Things Season 4. In the meantime, you can check out my spoiler-filled discussion and theories on what’s coming in Stranger Things Season 4, which I wrote way back in 2019.

Check out the Stranger Things 5th-anniversary throwback video below:
