[Rumour] Call Of Duty 2022 Codename & Developer Leaked

That NVIDIA GeForce Now leaks last night revealed a lot of unannounced games, including a bunch of Final Fantasy titles and more.

Interestingly, on the same Reddit thread, a mysterious game titled Project Cortez is listed with Activision Blizzard as the publisher and Infinity Ward as the developer. It’s not hard to surmise that this could well be the next Call Of Duty game slated for next year.

According to Charlie Intel, Project Cortez is a brand new codename. Call Of Duty Warzone was Magma, while Call Of Duty Black Ops Cold War was Zeus. However, take all this with a grain of salt for now. We have a while to wait before Activision even announces the next Call Of Duty, especially considering that Call Of Duty Vanguard isn’t even out yet.

Infinity Ward’s last game was Call Of Duty Modern Warfare in 2019.

Call Of Duty Vanguard will launch for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC on 5 November 2021. For more details on the multiplayer and upcoming beta, head on over here.
