Wild Hearts’ Latest March Patch Notes Details Much-Needed PC Performance Fixes
By Lewis "lickety" Larcombe|March 27, 2023|0 Comment
Wild Hearts just dropped a new patch with some sweet fixes and improvements that you definitely don’t want to miss. Here’s the scoop:
First up, they’ve improved CPU performance (especially for AMD processors) and added connections for reinforcement between certain weapon combos, like Karakuri Katana and Nature’s Flashblade. There are also some new Apex and Wrack weapons for Nodachi, Bow, Bladed Wagasa, Maul, Karakuri Staff, Hand Cannon, and Claw Blade, so be sure to check those out!
In terms of fixes, they added a confirmation window at the start of online co-op that asks whether you want to join the session or not when the host is further along in the story than you are. They also fixed a bunch of other issues, like the karakuri staff’s mutation level being increased beyond the limit displayed, and giant kemono continuously moving in one direction during online co-op.
They also fixed some specific issues on PC and PS5/Xbox X|S, like the first attack of “Unbound: Iai Sunder Slash” not hitting when the FPS limit was set to 30 on PC, and graphical priority causing issues on PS5/Xbox X|S. There were also fixes for dragon karakuri disappearing after moving to another hunting ground, chain trap not activating during frame rate drops, and Amaterasu stopping movement during certain quests when players joined as guests.
Phew, that’s a lot! But wait, there’s more – they also fixed issues with story progression, game crashes, and sound not playing on certain sound cards. Oh, and small kemono now spawn in the intended numbers.
