Update: we’ve updated the story to reflect the Year 1 Pass DLC 72-hour early access period. The original story stated that the main game is accessible three days early, which it isn’t (and is standard practice for some fighting game titles like GBVS Rising and Mortal Kombat 1, hence the confusion). During the Tekken World Tour 2023 livestream, Bandai Namco has unveiled the company’s many versions of Tekken 8, the next 3D fighting game.

In a Tekken 8 presentation featuring producers Katsuhiro Harada and Michael Murray, they showed off the Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate versions of the game, with different bonuses. You can buy the Ultimate Pack separately for US$19.99 which gives you the Kazuya, Jin, and Jun Avatar Skins.

Most importantly, if you buy the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of Tekken 8 (any platform), you gain 72-hour Early Access to the game’s Year 1 Pass DLC. That means you can play the game’s upcoming content like Eddy Gordo (and other new characters in the pass) 3 days earlier than everyone.

Speaking of which, Eddy Gordo is the first character in the Year 1 Pass who will be out this Spring, after Tekken 8 is out. Tekken 8 will be out for PC, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5 on 26 January.
