Overwatch Is Free to Play This Weekend

Calling prospective Agents of Overwatch.
The Overwatch Free Weekend event returns this weekend, from the 16th-19th February 2018 for all platforms (PC, Xbox One, PS4) in all regions.
So what’s in store? Well – the whole game, essentially. Those who does not own the game will be able to try out the whole shebang with access to all modes, characters and progression which will carry forward in case they decide to purchase the game following the weekend trial.
So let’s get down to the details:
When?
Folks in the Asian region will get to play the game from 3am on 17th of February 2018.
What’s in Store?
The whole thing. It’s basically free access to the whole game for the duration of the weekend for anyone who hasn’t yet owned it.
How do I get it?Â
PC: Download the Blizzard app, sign in and download the game from the 16th onwards (17th for Asia) Feb and you are good to go!
PS4: Search for Overwatch in the search menu and click on the “Overwatch Free Weekend”. Pre-loading is available starting today
Xbox One: Search for Overwatch and click on the “Free Trial” button. Same like for the PS4, pre-loading is available starting today.
All progress, achievements, trophies and most importantly, lootbox items will carry on if you so decide to purchase the full game. It’s a great time to hop in as well, since you stand to get awesome Year of the Dog Lunar Event skins during the duration of the free weekend.
Free trial ends on the 20th Feb 2018 7:59am (Feb 19 11:59pm PT).

Overwatch is a team-based, hero shooter where players battle each other to complete specific objectives across 16 different maps. There are currently 26 heroes to choose from, each unique with their own personalities, traits and abilities. Developed by Blizzard, Overwatch is what came out of the failed ‘Project Titan’ and takes inspiration from classic team-based shooters in the past, most notably Team Fortress.
