Can Your PC Run Battlefield V ? (Updated)
Update 7th June 2018:
Electronic Arts’Â Global Community Engagement Manager, Dan Mitre recently clarified via Twitter that the PC requirement specs detailed in the earlier report were inaccurate and that they were merely placeholders.
With E3 just around the corner, expect EA to release the updated details soon enough.
Recently, incorrect minimum PC specs for #Battlefield V were published as placeholders. We haven’t announced our minimum or recommended specs for Battlefield V yet. Stay tuned!

While Battlefront V will only hit stores in October, you can prep your rig to run the game starting today as EA and DICE recently unveiled the minimum specs to run the game. As revealed on the Origin Store, the layman explanation would be that – if you were able to play Battlefield 1 on your PC, then you’re in the clear as the requirements are similar which begs the question – is Battlefield V essentially an ‘expansion’ of Battlefield 1? We will hold our judgement til the game hits.
Anyways, here are the specs:
OS:Â 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
Processor (AMD):Â AMD FX-6350
Processor (Intel):Â Core i5 6600K
Memory:Â 8GB RAM
Graphics card (AMD):Â AMD Radeonâ„¢ HD 7850 2GB
Graphics card (NVIDIA): nVidia GeForce® GTX 660 2GB
DirectX:Â 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent
Online Connection Requirements:Â 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
Hard-drive space:Â 50GB
Battlefield V releases October 19. Featuring a 4-player co-op mode, EA claimed that the game will have no loot boxes nor Premium Pass shenanigans, so yay!
